What are they?
Ear candles were traditionally used by the Native American Hopi Indians to cleanse and harmonise the different energy field of the individual aura and to drive out negative energies.
Ear candles are made today based on an old traditional formula originating from the hop Indians. The candles are hollow tubes impregnated with honey, beeswax and healing herbs.
One end of the candle is lit and the other end inserted into the ear. The candles work on a chimney principle, drawing any impurities to the surface where they may be gently removed. They equalize pressure in the head and ears thus making them suitable for many conditions. It is an intensive but pleasant and usually painless experience.
How long does it take?
Treatment is usually about 30-45 minutes depending on the severity of the symptoms. Both ears are treated.
“My husband and I both have Hopi ear treatments with Sarah. We have both found them to be effective in different ways. My husband has sinus problems and he finds the treatment gives him some relief from his symptoms especially when he has regular treatments. Personally I have suffered from hay fever since being a young child and I find that regular treatments in the summer allows me to only reach for the tablets on really bad days. Sarah is always a positive influence and her manner is always very professional” Alison “I would like to say that the treatment was excellent… a new experience but fairly quickly, I noticed improvements…still amazed what came out of the ears – especially the “worst” one, but it went a long way towards explaining my symptoms! Thanks again.” TimPRICES
