Many of us lead hectic lives, balancing a myriad of everyday stresses and strains. Here at The Bridge Centre we firmly believe in the importance of trying to carve out a little bit of me-time to help recharge and revive the batteries, whether that’s as a treat for a loved one, a de-stress in the run up to an important day, or as an ongoing commitment to personal wellbeing.

Here’s our hand-picked guide to treatments at The Bridge Centre:

Massage

A go-to treatment for both relaxation and to work out any aches, pains, and niggles. Our fabulous Massage Therapists offer a great range of massages, making it easier than ever to get the tailored treatment that’s right for you. As well as the ever-popular Back, Neck and Shoulder Massage, and Swedish Massage, did you know that at the centre you can also indulge in an Aromatherapy Massage, with a personalised oil blended just for you, or a wonderfully relaxing Hot Stones Massage? We’re also delighted to be able to offer Pregnancy Massage, the perfect pick-me-up for a Mum-to-be.

Practitioners: Ally Warwick, Sam Jackson

Reflexology

Relaxation for the whole body - using just the hands and feet! By treating the reflexes in the hand and feet that correspond to all the various parts of the body, this deeply relaxing therapy seeks to restore imbalances and relieve stress. All you have to do, is literally put your feet up, and let your Reflexologist take care of the rest!

Practitioners: Gina Hinks, Sam Jackson

Reiki

Reiki is a non-invasive treatment that’s suitable for all. Founded on the belief that everyone’s ‘ki’ should be strong and free flowing, this gentle treatment involves the placing of hands either on, or slightly above the body, as the practitioner seeks to unblock and strengthen your ‘ki’, to restore physical and emotional balance.

Practitioner: Sam Jackson

Pilates

Through 1-1 or 1-2 sessions our Pilates Instructors offer a gentle exercise and movement system that’s truly bespoke for you. Using specialised resistance apparatus our Instructors are able to help improve posture, rehabilitate after injury and support you with improving strength and flexibility.

Practitioners: Juliet Cooper, Michelle Johnston

Emotional Freedom Technique

Otherwise known as Tapping, Emotional Freedom Technique combines traditional acupressure points and modern psychological techniques to assist with a range of emotional and physical conditions. As the technique is taught the process can be used in everyday life to promote calm, be it before a dental appointment, or in the workplace before a big meeting or interview.

Practitioner: Richard Smith

EMMETT Technique

This soothing technique works on the principle that light touch can trigger relaxation responses, relieving stress and tensions, and improving wellbeing. A lovely, gentle treatment that involves no sudden movement or heavy hands.

Practitioner: Juliet Cooper
