'Shiatsu is a hands in bodywork system based on Chinese Medicine using the same points and channels as Acupuncture.
Practitioners use their hands to balance out energy in the channels using joint rotations and gentle stretching. This helps to alleviate symptoms and restore balance and well-being.
Cupping and Moxa may also be used if necessary to release stiff muscles and sore aches.
Clients remain fully clothed and treatments can be carried out in seated or lying positions. No needles are used in Shiatsu , making it a good alternative for those wishing to avoid needles.'
