Sally Race – Clinical Hypnotherapist
Available from Wed 24 Sep 25
Hi, Iām Sally Race, a Clinical Hypnotherapist with a background in healthcare and rehabilitation. I began my career in the NHS as an Occupational Therapist after completing my Honours degree in Occupational Therapy, where I worked with many conditions and areas, including stress management, cardiac rehabilitation, and neurorehabilitation. Alongside my clinical role, I have taught at both Derby University and Derby College, sharing my expertise in rehabilitation theory and practice.
Since establishing my private practice in 2005, I have worked with clients to overcome anxiety, panic, phobias, low mood, weight management issues, and performance blocks. I combine hypnotherapy with neurolinguistic programming (NLP), and other evidence-based practices to create tailored interventions. My approach is structured, supportive, and goal-focused, enabling clients to also build practical tools for long-term change.

I offer a free 20-minute consultation to help clients explore whether hypnotherapy is the right approach for them. I am committed to honest, professional guidance, and where appropriate, will recommend alternative support.
Dedicated to ongoing professional development, I actively engage with the latest research in neuroscience, psychology, and behavioural health to ensure my practice reflects current best evidence. I am a registered member of the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH) and adheres to its ethical and professional standards.
