Because of the high level of stress in modern society it is incredibly important that we make time for relaxation in our everyday lives.

There is a great deal of research to show the relationship between high stress levels and poor health.  We know that stress not only affects our moods but can lead to serious physical and mental disorders.  Stress can cause mental health problems,  raise our blood pressure and at its worst cause damage to arteries and even heart disease. Stress is also known to affect bowel conditions and lower our immune systems, causing our bodies to more susceptible to infections and viruses. We need to relax and rest in order to stay healthy and to enjoy our lives.
