Cosmetic Acupuncture

Cosmetic Acupuncture is becoming increasingly popular as an alternative to chemical based fillers.

What is Cosmetic Acupuncture

As with traditional Acupuncture, Cosmetic Acupuncture is based on the insertion of needles into meridian points around the body – this time centred on specific areas of the face.

‘Cosmetic Acupuncture works by improving blood supply to the skin, boosting collagen, and tightening muscles of the face. This leads to a reduction in fine lines and wrinkles, enhances skin tone and the overall radiance of your skin.’ Sharon Waltho – Acupuncturist.

Benefits of Cosmetic Acupuncture

Cosmetic Acupuncture encourages the body to repair itself, improving the texture and look of the skin, without the need for the injection of toxins or chemicals into the body.

Cosmetic Acupuncture may help to improve…
•    the look of wrinkles and fine lines
•    the definition of the jawline, and reduction of jowls
•    soften frown and laughter lines around the eyes and forehead.

As with all our therapies, the Practitioners will take a holistic approach to your treatment and may use needles in other points on the body to help boost your overall wellbeing.

What to expect.

Cosmetic Acupuncture is available at the Bridge Centre with Practitioners Sharon Waltho and Sarah Sherman

All treatments are tailored to the individual – although focus will be made to improving the appearance of the skin on the face, you will also be asked questions relating to your overall health and wellbeing.

Once assessment has been completed, extra fine needles will be inserted into the brow, cheek, chin and eye socket area of the face and any other areas of concern.

In addition to Cosmetic Acupuncture, Sharon Waltho also offers Low Level Light Therapy (LLLT) which can be used in addition or independently of Cosmetic Acupuncture.

To encourage optimum results a course of regular treatments is advised, discounts are available for block bookings of ten sessions.

Full payment is required at the first appointment of each block.
