Cathy Travis

After working in the humanitarian aid sector for over 20 years, Cathy changed career and is now training to be an Osteopath, currently working as a Deep Tissue Massage Therapist.

As part of the massage treatments she offers, Cathy focuses on clients’ overall well-being, considering the challenges of their day-to-day lives and their support network, whilst aiming to reduce pain levels and improve range of movement.

Charles is co-owner of The Bridge Centre and a highly sought after Osteopath with over 20 years experience.  He offers Laser Therapy as part of his treatment package and has particular interest in Cranial Osteopathy for babies and children. He is also an Applied Kinesiologist.

Helena has always been fascinated by the human body, and felt naturally drawn to work as a complementary therapist.

After initially training in Graphic Design she felt somewhat disillusioned with the prospect of working in the design industry and decided to return to her interest in health and wellbeing.

She now enjoys combining her creativity with her work as a holistic therapist to create bespoke, therapeutic experiences that focus on overall wellbeing.

Juliet Cooper

Juliet offers Restorative Pilates which is suitable for people of all ages, body types and fitness levels. The personalised teaching she offers can be done in a 1:1 or 1:2 teaching ratio and provides support and progress if you are recovering from an injury or illness before safely progressing you towards your fitness goals.

Michelle Johnston

Originally from South Africa, Michelle started her career as a dancer with Cape Town City Ballet, and was promoted to Principal in 2004. Michelle discovered Pilates after her second baby and was amazed at how quickly she felt the benefits.

Michelle trained with master teacher trainer Rachel Rafiefar through the Pilates Foundation, and has qualifications in Matwork, the Apparatus, Pre and Postnatal Pilates and Pilates for MS. Having a ballet background, Michelle has an understanding of coming back from injury and fears of reinjury. A love of movement and attention to detail come together to provide a fun and challenging class appropriate for each client.

Paul Knighton

Paul is a Licenced Acupuncturist & Member of the British Acupuncture Council (MBAcC), and studied Traditional Chinese Medicine with Western Biomedical Sciences including Anatomy & Physiology at university, attaining a BSc (Hons) in Acupuncture.

Paul has also trained with Si Yuan Balance Method Acupuncture, acquiring the in-depth theories of analytical, precise, effective stimulation of a minimal amount of distal points, thereby avoiding aggravation of the localised regions of pain.

Paul is certified in Auricular Acupuncture with training in the VAS, Musculoskeletal Protocols & Scars.

Rachel Bolton

Rachel is a fully qualified Alexander Technique Practitioner. Her work focuses on supporting the individual to improve their movement, poise and self-awareness.

Through the Alexander Technique, Rachel helps clients to become more physically aware of their posture, and teach techniques to release tension in the body, this in turn can help relieve and prevent pain and discomfort.

A typical session will involve standing, sitting, lying down and moving through a combination of movements taught through verbal instruction and gentle hands on guidance.

Rachel is an experienced and skilled Osteopath who uses a full range of Osteopathic and Cranial Osteopathic skills. She offers Laser Therapy as part of her treatment package when appropriate to do so. She applies her Osteopathic skills to helping people of all ages and has a particular specialism in Cranial Osteopathy for babies.

Richard Smith

Richard is a former teacher who now works in talking therapy, helping children, young people and adults to understand and manage their mental health and wellbeing. He does this by offering a supportive, confidential space in which to help work through those thoughts, feelings and behaviours that may be troublesome.

Sally is a Five Element Acupuncturist and founder of Life Tree Acupuncture. She is also a member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) Research Board and BAcC National Student Representative.
