A unique form of body therapy

The EMMETT website compares the technique to a touch screen, if you get the pressure, place and press length right, the app will open. Does that sound app-ealing to you? If so you should app-solutely read on!

EMMETT Technique © involves the application of light finger pressure on specific points around the body, which can trigger a relaxation response in soft tissues areas. In turn this may help relieve tensions and improve general well-being.

This soothing therapy may improve comfort and ease tension in areas where support is needed. Commonly treated areas include the back, neck, abdomen, shoulders, arms, hips, legs and knees, although wherever your complaint, Emmett may be able to help.

As EMMETT Technique © is a gentle treatment with light touch, there are no heavy hands or sudden adjustments to be found. Treatment can be carried out either directly to the skin or through light clothing, and there’s no need to lay on a couch if you would prefer to sit or stand - your comfort is paramount!

EMMETT Technique © at The Bridge Centre is with the lovely Juliet Cooper. More details can be found at https://restorativepilates.uk/emmett, or contact the reception team on 01332 521 270 for more information.
