A great all-around treatment for joints, muscles and ligaments.

We couldn’t do an A-Z of all things Bridge Centre without a blog dedicated to Osteopathy, one of our most well-known treatments. So for anyone new to Osteopathy - let’s dive in!

There’s rarely a day goes by when we don’t hear from someone struggling with joint, muscle or ligament pain, whether that’s in their back, neck, shoulders, hips - anywhere really! In these instances we may recommend Osteopathy, as this holistic manual therapy is a great all-around treatment to help bring the body back into balance.

The General Osteopathic Council defines Osteopathy as ‘a system of diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of medical conditions. It works with the structure and function of the body, and is based on the principle that the well-being of an individual depends on the skeleton, muscles, ligaments and connective tissues functioning smoothly together.
Osteopathic techniques may include manipulations, joint articulation, gentle soft tissue work and cranial osteopathy.

Osteopathy may be able to support you with a wide range of issues, including:

●    Low back, neck and shoulder pain
●    Headaches and migraines
●    Elbow and wrist strains
●    Hip and knee problems
●    Arthritis
●    Minor sports injuries
