Throughout May we’ve been looking at what it means to us to get ‘summer-ready’. No crash diets and sit-up challenges here - instead we believe that a stronger, healthier body and a clearer mind are paramount to feeling your best over the warmer months.

Alexander Technique
We kicked things off with the Alexander Technique. The Alexander Technique seeks to restore balance throughout the body by correcting the habits which are causing you tension, pain, and stress. This technique teaches self-development, enabling you to make long term changes to your posture and movement by improving the balance between mind and body.

Pilates
Most people have an idea about what matwork Pilates involves, but did you know that at The Bridge Centre we have a dedicated studio with Pilates Reformer Equipment? Through 1:1 or 1:2 guidance your Pilates Instructor will take you through a personalised workout using the versatile flatbed Reformer, helping improve strength, balance and flexibility.

Deep Tissue Massage and Sports Massage
Many of us feel motivated by the longer, brighter days to get out and get exercising. But what’s often left unspoken is how Sports Massage and Deep Tissue Massage can help you take your sporting performance to the next level, and assist with injury recovery so you can keep moving. Deep Tissue massage helps break down muscle knots and rigid tissue which in turn may improve motion and stiffness, whilst Sports Massage encourages muscle-healing and could even enhance sports-performance!

Emotional Freedom Technique
Emotional Freedom Technique (or Tapping as it’s commonly known) combines traditional acupuncture/acupressure points and modern psychological techniques to assist with a wide range of emotional issues and physical conditions.
As the technique is taught to the client, so that you are able to use it yourself, EFT is well suited to helping manage every day fears and phobias.

Osteopathy

Hypnotherapy
